Samsung just revealed its latest flagship a high-end W2017 Android Clamshell phone. The new Samsung W2017 Clamshell phone codenamed “Veyron”. The smartphone just made its official debut in China, while it’s probably been a while since you have seen a flip phone in the UK.

The Samsung W2017 features an internal and external 4.2 inch Super AMOLED display with a Full High Definition resolution of 1080 pixels. The phone has an elegant metal body and beautiful design –wise. It will run Android 6.0 Marshmallow that would be upgraded to Android 7.0 Nougat later. The phone packs the powerful Snapdragon 820 Quad Core Processor, coupled with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. If you need more storage so it can be expandable up to 256GB via MicroSD card.

The Clamshell Phone has a 12-megapixel of the rear camera with an f/1.9 aperture and capture 4K video and on the front there’s a 5-megapixel camera for selfies shooter. The flip phone comes with the dual SIM support, 4G LTE connectivity and a 2,300mAh battery with fast charging support. The device also supports wireless charging and mobile payment via Samsung Pay. The device will available in two color variants, Black and Gold.

Price And Availability

Samsung W2017 will release in China at first and it’s remained unclear for now, which other market will get the Clamshell phone. Samsung hasn’t confirmed the price and release date of the phone yet. It is expected that the price of flip phone will be around 20,000 yuan (£2,350).
