New Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge smartphone was launched in February 2016. The phone comes with a 5.5-inch touchscreen display along with a resolution of 1440 pixels by 2560 pixels at a PPI of 534 pixels per inch.
The screen is larger, yet somehow the phone does not feel too much bigger in the hand. The rear of the phone is now curved too, making it sit nicely in the hand. It is waterproof. There is also a microSD card slot.
The Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge is powered by 1.6GHz octa-core and it comes with 4 gigabyte of RAM. The phone packs 32 gigabyte of internal storage that can be expanded up to 200 gigabyte via a microSD card. As far as the cameras are concerned, the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge packs a 12 MP primary camera on the rear and a 5 MP front face shooter for selfies.
The Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge runs Android 6.0 and it is powered by a 3600mAh non-removable battery. It measures (height x width x thickness) 150.90 x 72.60 x 7.70 and weighs 157.00 grams.
The display, while technically part of the Galaxy S7 Edge’s design, is worthy of chatting about in its own right – simply because it looks so great.
The Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge is a dual SIM (GSM and GSM) smartphone Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, NFC, 3G, 4G (with support for Band 40 used by some LTE networks in India). Sensors on the phone include Ambient light sensor and Proximity sensor, also Accelerometer, and Gyroscope.
