Acer Has Unveiled A Gigantic 21-inch Gaming Laptop, The Predator 21 X

Acer announced the Acer Predator 21X at IFA 2016 in Berlin, it is arguably the most technically impressive gaming laptop coming to the market, not only have this machine’s designers put a curved 21-inch display on a laptop for the first time ever, they have also gone and given it two GeForce GTX 1080 GPUs as well. Add in five cooling fans, a 7th-generation Intel Core K-series processor, and also space for as much as four terabytes of SSD storage, and you have a laptop that’s beyond obscene.

The IPS giant screen offers a 2560 x 1080 screen resolution, which makes it perfect not only for playing one’s favorite games, but also for the movie watching. It also features Tobii’s eye-tracking technology, a full-sized Cherry MX along with RGB lighting mechanical keyboard and a modular numerical keypad, that can be turned over and transforms into a touchpad.

The gaming laptop brings an advanced cooling system that includes 5 sys fans, to make the sys work at its peak no matter how heavy the computing load will be. Processor-wise, it will be using the 7th-generation Intel Core chips, as well as 4 DDR4 memory card slots. This beast can take up to 64GB of RAM, as well as up to 4 terabytes of SSD storage. VR aficionados will not have any problem with this machine. It will work perfectly with the HTC Vive or with the Oculus Rift.

The Predator 21 X will come loaded with top-end gear to make light work of gaming too. But they are not available until the first quarter of 2017 – so we’ll have to wait until then for the Predator’s release too.
