Spotify Launched A New & Improved App For Samsung Smart TVs

Spotify has recently launched a new app for Samsung Smart Television range that allows the user to use Spotify over their Smart Television. The new app is nothing new in terms of usage and is going to function the same way it does over other platforms, including auto or smart TVs. The app itself isn’t that interesting, but the fact that the Spotify’s making it available to free users is.

Specifically, Samsung models from 2015 and 2016 are getting the update. Both the Spotify Free and Premium members can use the app to play, browse, skip, and search songs, via a new user interface that has been optimized for use on the larger screens. The update also makes it easier to use the Spotify Connect to control the app using your tablet, phone, or computer.

As we all know to take full access to Spotify one need to buy monthly subscription but with this app users would be able to take experience of each feature that paid users do on their Smart Television By Samsung.

But unlike paid users the free users would be watching some annoying advertisements with their favorite songs, this move by the firm could be said to either earn money or could be said to increase its paid user count as who loves annoying ads in between their favorite songs?

Spotify, of course, is available on all sorts of devices, including tablets, phones, and streaming sticks like Google’s Chromecast, Roku, and others.

This updated Spotify experience for Samsung Smart TVs is available in market in which Spotify is available, except for Japan. Unfortunately for users of 2014 and earlier Samsung Smart TVs, you will be stuck with an older version of app, and comparatively limited functionality.

This move by Spotify is surely going to help them very much and the users would also be able to enjoy decent music on their Smart Televisions too!
