Nikon Digital SLR Cameras Receive The Red Dot Award

Nikon Corporation happily announced that Nikon D5 and D500 received the Red Dot Award 2016. Its registration started from the 26 October 2015 and winner selected among the 5,200 entries from 57 countries around the world.

The D5 is Nikon is professional DSLR .This D5 is Nikon’s flagship full-frame(35.9 x 23.9 mm) Digital SLR with 3.2 inch screen size. Its features included a 20.8-megapixel CMOS sensor, 5588 x 3712 maximum resolution, USB 3.0 (5 gigabyte/sec), 21 megapixel, an all-new 153-point AF system including 99 cross-type sensors, 4K UHD video capture. It also features Controls radio slaves, 200-frame buffer at these speeds and ISO 100 to 102,400 as regular ISOs. It can also shoot stills (3,840 x 2,160) 4K during the video with flash and 3D Color Matrix. D5 have a Type C HDMI with 3.5mm stereo audio input with plug-in power. This D5 comes in two version: Dual XQD card slots and Dual CF card capability.

On the other hand, Nikon D500 is 20.9 MP Nikon’s flagship APS-C format Digital SLR with a significantly overhauled autofocus system. It provide continuous shooting speeds of 10 fp and capture 4K/UHD video. It features 200 shot buffer for Raw image, ISO 100 – 51200 (expandable to 50 – 1640000), its screen size is 3.2 inch with USB 3.0 (5 Gigabyte /sec) and a constant connection to a smartphone with the of Bluetooth. Its other features, like 153-point AF system and 180-pixel RGB sensor is same as the D5 digital SLR.
