The Reason Why I Loved Electronic Projects!
August 31st 2009 04:27
Some of my friends always assumed I’m a weird person. Go figure, how can a high school teacher can have so much of interests in the technology field, especially the gadgets and self-DIY stuffs?
Frankly, who says a high school history/biology teacher cannot DIY his own electronics projects, as one of the contestant from American Inventor, Ricky DeRennaux, who is also a primary school teacher had proven that we can made our dream becomes a reality, as long as we have the faith on it!
Well, maybe I’m not the smartest one, but I’m definitely one of the coolest home hobbyists! For your information, I’ve built nearly thousands of electronics projects since I was 8-year-old. I remembered my first electronic project was a very simple LED switch on/off project! I was amazed by the capability of LEDs and from that moment, I’ve decided to devote parts of my times into it.
Well, it’s already over 20 years, but my passion in the electronics projects is never fade away. Instead, I’ve built many interesting Arduino-based projects over the past few months, including the Arduino Binary Clock, Arduino Nano Drives 8x8 LED Matrix, Arduino with Laptop Touch pad and much more.
Most of the time, I can easily find all my electronic components in the local electronics shops. After all, it’s only a few blocks from my home. However, when it comes to the hard-to-find electronic parts, such as the Texas Instruments microcontrollers, transceivers, Optocouplers and others, I usually looks for the alternative resourcing: Search the electronic parts by browsing through the internet!
Go figure, I don’t want to waste endless hours stuck in a crazy traffic jam, just for buying a limited electronic part out state! Plus, most of the limited edition electronic parts are mostly warranty void!
In this case, it’s better to search over the internet and get the right electronic parts online. Normally, most of the online electronic suppliers are giving obsolete parts warranty to the customers.
By the way, I still have an electronic project need to be done here. So, I catch you all later, OK? Thanks for keep sticking with me…
