The Intelligent Dummy to Be Used By Medical Practitioners!
September 29th 2009 05:27
For those who taking the medicine as their career, I must give you a credit here. I knew that isn’t easy to become a certified doctor/surgeon, especially when you’re facing with the patients that have a seriously internal bleeding and need to be operated as soon as possible!
While I’m at my senior high, my biology teacher had shown us on how to do the CPR during the biology classes. For demonstrating the CPR, a dummy is being used as a substitution to a real person!
Talking about the dummy, the Laerdal Medical from Norway have launched a new and improved version of the Rescusci Anne CPR training simulator, which is also known as the SimMan 3G.
The SimMan 3G have equipped with many expressions, such as cry, bleed, convulse, suffocate and much more. By using the SimMan 3G, it enables the medical practitioners to measure the quality of CPR, compression rate, blood pressure wave forms and ECG easily.
Leardal Medical hasn’t announce the launching date of the SimMan 3G dummy, but it would probably be in the end of 2009.
