Philips X53 Laptop Review

Philips is one of the pioneers in producing quality electronic products with efficient features and considerable rates. Philips X53 Laptop is their latest launch which consists of dual core processor with a speed up to 1.66 MHz. This device has a basic design, which is highly suitable for the new laptop users. Generally RAM helps in storing more number of data mainly the multimedia and other types of ordinary files. RAM helps in easy accessing of the multimedia applications, which consumes the time.


Philips X53 Laptop has built-in 1GB RAM allowing the users to store more data as possible. This model has a screen size of 12.1 inches and also colourful eye catchy images can be viewed in this screen with the help of thin film transistor. The main source which is used in the device to view clear pictures is nothing but the liquid crystals. In this particular model, the DVD writer is the secondary storage device used to access applications like digital videos, photos and archives.



Another exceptional feature that is available in the device is that it is designed as a portable computer which can be easily moved anywhere without any strain. The operating system that is used in the device is Microsoft Windows XP Home operating system. Philips X53 Laptop’s memory capacity is 2 GB where and a cache memory is also used as an external memory to store more required data.


Intel GMA950 graphics card is used in this model to store the video and graphics files. There are 3 high speed interfaces are available in the device. These interfaces are used to get connections from other devices like scanner, printer and Mp3 player. It also has an internal modem to connect the system with the internet. The features that are available in the device are user-friendly.

It's a long time since I've seen the name Philips used in electronics, it always had a superb name and this looks rather nice and seems to have good features and capacities, I guess one has to pay for quality and many always go for cheap products although I'm unsure whether that applies here.

Yeah, I'm also a loyal user of the Phillips brand eletrical appliances and I still use some of the applicances, including TV until today...
