How to Use the Broadband Speed Test?

June 12th 2009 05:19
Did you know, there are over 72.5 percent of the U.S. citizens and 81.2 percent of the U.K. citizens are the loyal users of broadband? Although the statistic seems a little bit unbelievable, but it’s the truth that broadband service has started to penetrate into every household in the United States of America and United Kingdom.

Since the broadband coverage is becoming extremely common in nowadays world, thus the broadband service providers are mushrooming rapidly day after day! Believe it or not, there are over thousands of broadband service providers across the entire globe. Since we have various types of choices here, it's very important and crucial for us to compare broadband service providers carefully.

However, there are still many places; especially the developing countries, where majority of the people didn’t have the minimal access into the internet world!

Frankly, my friend, Tony, has asked me before, “Wilson, how well do you think you’re understand about the broadband?” I stunned for a second and replied him with this humor answer, “Maybe I’m not the top notch in the broadband niche, but I’ve tried to learn and excel the important knowledge of it. You know me, Tony! I’m a person who full with curiosity and I wouldn’t mind to cost anything, as long as I can learn something useful from it.”

Instead of my working hours, I’m spending hours per day scouring the internet, with plenty of hopes to discover the newest and geekiest things on internet.

By the way, did anyone here ever try out the broadband speed test before? For your information, broadband speed test is a program that allows you to test up your broadband’s download speed, upload speed and latency simultaneously. By using this feature, it can help the user to know even better the current broadband’s download and upload speed, which is saving your time when you’re performing the uploading or downloading tasks!

No matter you want to accept it or not, the broadband is already becoming a part of some people’s life. If you’re still browsing the internet with the old-fashioned dial-up service, then it’s about time to change it to broadband!

Before that, don’t forget to compare prices, analyze and subscribe the most affordable broadband that suits your need.

It took me ages to be able to comment on this one. I don't know if the problem is at my end or Orble's or just plain broadband!

I didn't think anyone used dial-up anymore. I think broadband is slow enough but maybe I am just spoiled. Interesting information, Wilson.

Janet, there's many possibilities, where it caused the loading speed to slowdown...

Hehe, don't be so sure, as some of my friends still using the dial-up, even though there are bunch of broadband choices for them!
