Gaming Laptops Are Necessary For Serious Gamers

Throughout my gaming career, I’ve met many different types of people in my life. I’ve seen everyone from hardcore gamers to people who didn’t know the difference between a laptop and a notebook (as if there is one 
)
Not long ago, if you’ve encountered someone who claimed he/she is a gamer, and they use a laptop, they would have been laughed at. Your first thought was, “What a joke. A gaming laptop.. really? Well, I won’t be surprised, that some of you here might think, “Is it impossible to be a serious gamer by gaming on a laptop”
But this has changed in recent years, thanks to a company named Factor Gaming. It might sound a little bit out of tune, but it is the truth! During my college life, I made friends with a person who was majoring in graphic design. Jonathan, who has happened to be one fanatic online gamer, mostly spent his days playing games!
Although I also play WoW, but compared to him I seemed like a complete noob. Gosh, he really knew all the tactics and strategies to demolish me in every game we played. He’s a generous guy, as he loved to share his secrets on how to conquer other players in our favorite games (Yep, I did learn something useful from him).
When the topic came to hardware, I asked Jonathan, “What’s the most important thing for an online gamer?”
He replied me, “Well Wilson, if you want to become a serious gamer, then you should first equip yourself with one of the most up-to-date gaming laptops! That way you can play wherever you travel to and easily take your rig to LAN parties.”
Wait a second, “What!” You see, Jonathan lived in a different dorm than me, so I never actually saw him on his computer. I had always just assumed he used a desktop. I was floored when he told me he played on a laptop!
“Hmm…, then, what kind of features should one consider when buying a gaming laptop?”
“You need a top-tier graphic card, Processor, at least 4GB of RAM, a 7200RPM hard drive and a high quality screen display. These are the five simple rules and the most important rules for gaming laptop.”
I had no idea you could get a serious gaming machine in a laptop. But after Jonathan showed me Factor Gaming, my eyes were opened to a whole new world. Not only could I compete with the best desktops in the world, but I could game wherever I went! My computer wasn’t confined to my office or basement. It could easily go to any friend’s house or any place I traveled to.
Time flies by… Now, it’s already a few years after I’ve graduated from college. Jonathan was right. Gaming laptops are even MORE powerful and a better value than they were before. And by the way, Jonathan is an online game developer now, working for one of the renowned game companies. I’m very proud of his achievement and I wish him all the best.
